@MissMistyEX @TheSillySnail I fully agree they aren't a mastermind or anything like it, but take issue with them not being a character. The Japanese translation is closer to "simple minded", I think they just really only care about not getting bored.

@MissMistyEX @TheSillySnail It does they aren't that smart, but still describes them as fickle, mischievous and all about not being bored. (Which fits with the 'having fun?' dialogue). I don't think the Alphys thing is irrelevant, and am of the opinion it's both referring to her and the owner of the Friends

Did I miss a secret deltarune update or something but why is everyone talking about eram like they're the big bad mastermind behind everything, everyone is posting this deltarune mysteries templete thingy and half of it is eram and I'm like huh ???

@MissMistyEX @TheSillySnail This is a game about dark worlds making objects into real characters and suddenly we think what is likely the deleted Cat Petterz cats that had names and attachments won't somehow have any personality. They sound extremely similar to a certain other swarm of cats in Umineko

@MissMistyEX @TheSillySnail It's also possible the "pack owner" is just referring to Alphys, who makes mods for Cat Petterz 2 and the mewmew doll was previously owned by her. Regardless, saying Friend is a nothingburger and *confirmed* not to be a character is just, extremely ridiculous.

@MissMistyEX @TheSillySnail It's always so easy to tell when someone has a bias against something because of fans. Calling it a "nothingburger" and acting like anything is confirmed from Fandom interpretations of dialogue is certainly something.

@TheSillySnail The new pink shop stuff confirmed friend is a nothing burger and a species not a charecter and they are owned by somebody and its quite obvious the connection is the boss who orders them around (eram) is behind that, and likely alot of other things too
