One of the most inhumanly cruel things an author could do is write a creepy, gloomy otaku girl character with long unkempt bangs, only to then have her undergo some sort of character arc and end up looking more conventionally "pretty" and lose all her awkward mannerisms

@J_Onaka I also think that they tried to do something cool/different with just having characters there that deep fans would know, but casual enjoyers were definitely lost. It was neat to have them integrated into the story without origins of every person, but it got mad confusing

@Symmillionaire I like the concept behind the design. I get she’s supposed to appear very human. What gets me is that OW has had a reputation for using very similar faces for 6-7 years now on their fem characters. Having ANOTHER character who doesn’t look very different at all is tiring

We don't have a problem with her being pretty. We're just disappointed that this really could've been the opportunity to take advantage of a cool concept and capitalize on the edgy image of a villain, and Japanese cultural aesthetics, but we instead got ANOTHER "safe" design.
