I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.

It's a jungle out there. I know this don't mean much with the whole "rank is easier" and all.

I've hit a plateau. What do I need to do to consistently beat TG/TGS/GoD ranks? Matches are too back and forth to promote.

Don't know who needs to hear this but it's okay to have a flowchart in fgs. It means you created choices for your options. The problem with flowcharts are that people: 1) Don't adjust it to their opponent. Or 2) The chart itself is trash.

@umbravitti The players DID keep tekken 7 alive. Plenty of offline and online representation. Best selling tekken series. People still played despite how long we had to play t7 before a new one came out.

@O1dManSlick Harada had to beg for the opportunity to make Tekken 7. The players have not been what was keeping Tekken 7 alive.

Tekken has had its ups and downs bur player base has kept it alive. We've provided a variety of support. I can't say the same for some communities trying to bash Tekken. If yal focused over the years supporting your games you would be very active instead of a memory.

Its a thin line between love and hate. Because most of you whined about EVERY tekken yal have been involved in and still kept playing. T8 could be much better but most of us have done the same dance of vent and play.
MaK@ThuhRealMak

The worst realization on Tekken Twitter is that 85-95% of yall complain and say u hate the game, but play for 30+ hours a week. As a company owner/dev I wouldn't change a thing either, lmao. Who cares about reviews?!?!?!? The reasoning on why u play doesn't matter btw.

People still play by feel. There's the sweet science of instinct and information. The difference is that information and resources are more available. A lot players and region skill were drastically different based on knowledge back then versus now.
Akimi Sato ✨💜 IRL Vtuber!@TheAkimiSato

People treat fighting games like a numbers game too much that it feels like no one plays by feel anymore. It’s always “how do i set up the safe jump” or “how can i set up a frame kill for plus frames” Not everything needs a set up. Learn how to improv instead.

Being a Steve main is hilarious because all the old moves he had that were deemed too problematic by the devs were given to other characters instead

Dealing with Hwo pressure with that type of stage position is rough. Just gotta weather the storm til there's an opening and make good on that chance. And this interaction isn't a t8 thing either.

The way yal praise tag2 movement but forget about all crazy the stuff when hit is baffling. The so called "competitive" players don't make the majority of the base or aren't s big factor to keep the games the way they were. And most weren't nice in that game anyway.

This is literally the PROBLEM with modern Tekken that people fail to realize, and WHY there is IMBALANCE between defense and offense in modern Tekken... This video is made by @NovaSeiken

@Harada_TEKKEN Tekken has been a HUGE part of my life. I could talk for countless hours about the influence this franchise has been for me since the 90s. But I'll simply say Thank You and enjoy your break.

I’d like to share that I’ll be leaving Bandai Namco at the end of 2025. With the TEKKEN series reaching its 30th anniversary—an important milestone for a project I’ve devoted much of my life to—I felt this was the most fitting moment to bring one chapter to a close. My roots lie in the days when I supported small local tournaments in Japanese arcades and in small halls and community centers overseas. I still remember carrying arcade cabinets by myself, encouraging people to “Please try TEKKEN,” and directly facing the players right in front of me. The conversations and atmosphere we shared in those places became the core of who I am as a developer and game creator. Even as the times changed, those experiences have remained at the center of my identity. And even after the tournament scene grew much larger, many of you continued to treat me like an old friend—challenging me at venues, inviting me out for drinks at bars. Those memories are also deeply precious to me. In recent years, I experienced the loss of several close friends in my personal life, and in my professional life I witnessed the retirement or passing of many senior colleagues whom I deeply respect. Those accumulated events made me reflect on the “time I have left as a creator.” During that period, I sought advice from Ken Kutaragi—whom I respect as though he were another father—and received invaluable encouragement and guidance. His words quietly supported me in making this decision. Over the past four to five years, I’ve gradually handed over all of my responsibilities, as well as the stories and worldbuilding I oversaw, to the team, bringing me to the present day. Looking back, I was fortunate to work on an extraordinary variety of projects—VR titles (such as Summer Lesson), Pokkén Tournament, the SoulCalibur series, and many others, both inside and outside the company. Each project was full of new discoveries and learning, and every one of them became an irreplaceable experience for me. To everyone who has supported me, to communities around the world, and to all the colleagues who have walked alongside me for so many years, I offer my deepest gratitude. I’ll share more about my next steps at a later date. Thank you very much for everything. 【Postscript】 Although I will be leaving the company at the end of 2025, Bandai Namco has asked me to appear at the TWT Finals at the end of January 2026, so I expect to attend as a guest. For 30 years I kept saying, “I’ll do it someday,” and never once performed as a DJ at a tournament event. So instead, I will be releasing—for the first and last time—a 60-minute TEKKEN DJ-style nonstop mix (DJ mix), personally edited by myself, together with this announcement. Listening to it brings back many memories. Thank you again, sincerely, for all these years. ‘TEKKEN: A 30-Year Journey – Harada’s Final Mix’ by Katsuhiro Harada 1 is on #SoundCloud on.soundcloud.com/pEYofA4yXOwyC7… December 8, 2025 - The Final Day of TEKKEN’s 30th Anniversary - Katsuhiro Harada ‘TEKKEN: A 30-Year Journey – Harada’s Final Mix’ by Katsuhiro Harada 1 is on #SoundCloud on.soundcloud.com/pEYofA4yXOwyC7…
