With @churchofengland cathedrals & churches making up 45% of England’s Gd I listed buildings, regular funding - at least for historic church buildings - needs to be provided by both state and the central church, not the case in the UK, but is across Europe #heritage #tourism 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Exciting to see our first set of drawings from our measured survey, which means that we can now focus on ‘standing building archaeology’ and dendrochronology! Watch this space as we share more updates over the coming weeks.

I find industrial heritage fascinating and the enigineering on the Hay Inclined Plane at Ironbridge, is fantastic from 1793. It lifted barges 207ft (63m) from a canal next to the River Severn at the bottom up to the Shropshire Canal at the top. @OA_Architecture @Reyconservation
