I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. Just wondering where the outcry was against Curtis Jones back in November when after a loss by four goals he criticised the standards and the style of play. Why didn’t he apologise publicly for that?
And where was the outcry against Alexis Mac Allister when he criticised the way the club was operating and issued thinly veiled digs at the ownership and those in power. Why didn’t he publicly apologise for that?
And where was the outcry against captain Virgil Van Dijk who publicly called the team a mess after they crumbled to another defeat before throwing his teammates under the bus. Why didn’t he publicly apologise for that?
Personally, if these guys didn’t have to apologise for voicing their opinions on the troubles and problems we are having as a football club, why should Salah publicly apologise for a post where he talks about the style of play (same as Curtis)

when one of our all time greats feels the need to speak out about how the club are in trouble i listen as he has 0 to gain by letting the fans know what's happening
like when rafa called out hicks and gillet but im sure you took the side of the club owners hey
you worry about a great speaking out
be more worried about us losing 20 games this season & then being told by the associated media that everything fine & its just a blip

I can’t wait for Salah FC fans to do one when he goes. The biggest reason being that they have absolutely no concept of the dilemmas faced by those of us who have supported and attended this club for decades, when one of our greatest players goes up against the badge. Plazzy fans

Let’s just get some facts on the table here.
This season we’ve conceded 52 league goals, most in a 38 game season since 1914/15 season.
- Klopp in 20/21 conceded 42 with kabak, Phillips and Williams,
- United under Moyes conceded 43
- When Chelsea came 12th in 22/23, they conceded 47
- We have the same number of losses as Leeds and Sunderland
- We haven’t beaten any of the promoted teams at home
- 1 point out of 24 possible against top 9 away
- Most set piece goals conceded in the league
- 20 defeats this season (including 3 to palace in 3 different competitions)
- 8 defeats in the last 15 games
- an aggregate loss of 11-0 to go out of all cups
- Lowest home xG in a game since 2021
- Slot is still yet to win a game in May in 7 attempts.

Liverpool have failed to beat forest at home, Sunderland, Burnley, wolves, spurs home and even struggled against a 10 men spurs for 45 minutes, Brentford, leeds TWICE, Chelsea twice, United twice, galatasarsy twice, city 3 times and palace 3 times but you want me to “take the side” of some fella who says “scoring 2 at Villa is good actually” over the one who says “the standards are absolutely shite mate. Needs to be better after I get off”
