From 7yrs old until 14yrs old, the Olney Pirate coaches and family provided the most wonderful environment for James to learn and grow as a player and person. Immensely grateful so many were able to come from near and far to share in this moment with @jwood_29 !

We are pleased to announce that based on our tryouts this week, we will have two rising 8u travel teams this fall. The Mid Atlantic Gold team will be let by Coach Anthony Sosnoskie and assisted by Mike Graeves and Dave Brewer. The Mid Atlantic Black team will be coached by Pedro Rivera. Coach Rivera will be adding to his staff. Please see bios for both of our head coaches Anthony Sosnoskie Sherwood High School assistant: 2022-current, member of 2 state championship staff 2015-2021: Bishop McNamara Head Coach, 2019 WCAC Coach of the Year. School record 22 wins in 2019. 13 years of private baseball instruction. 4 year starter Virginia Tech at catcher Pedro Rivera Coach Pedro Rivera was a dedicated assistant Varsity coach at Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School for the past 15 years. In 2022, he was honored with the MSABC Assistant Coach of the Year Award. Beyond proud of our 12U Canes Mid-Atlantic Gold team who won the championship last night at Cooperstown 1-0 becoming only the second team from Maryland to do so. The team took the field for the championship game at 2am and got a brilliant pitching performance from MJ with a complete game 15 strikeout 1 hitter while only throwing 72 pitches! Cole hit a solo home run in the 5th to break the scoreless tie. Congrats to all of the players and coaches on a perfect week! @OBGCSPORTS @TheCanesBB @YouthCanes

Brandon currently works with @Angels and @UVABaseball and this will be a great opportunity to get his program for all of our youth players.
