This update also has some adjustments to how libraries are loaded that may have unintended side effects for certain plugins loading properly. We are working to resolve any issues that come up so PLEASE test the beta and let us know of any issues.

Next release we're aiming to update the workflow for adding sources by replacing the popup menu with a new window, which includes previews. We are looking for more users to test this update and provide us feedback. Visit our Discord to try it out and share your thoughts early!

OBS Studio 32.1 is now available! Alongside the usual tweaks and fixes, this release continues our steady work tidying up the codebase. This release features a complete rewrite of the Audio Mixer, cleaning up code, and adding new functionality. github.com/obsproject/obs…

As noted in the thread, this only affects downloads of these resources via the forums. While the obs-websocket forum resource was briefly affected, only about 80 downloads of that occurred. The version of obs-websocket bundled with OBS and available via GitHub was NOT affected

Some accounts on our forum were recently compromised due to password re-use and used to post malware. Please review this list to see if you may have been affected, as well as our other changes in response to this. obsproject.com/forum/threads/…

OBS is primarily developed by a dedicated community of volunteers and part of that process is testing new changes. The flexibility of OBS means everyone uses it differently and we cannot catch everything. The easiest way to give back to the project is to help test!
