Day 1 and Day 2 of the 47th Annual Old Dominion University Literary Festival were a joy. Please join us for the second half of the festival! All events are located at the University Theatre, and they are free and open to the public!

The 2024 Jerri Dickseski Fiction Prize competition is now open! Established by ODU English alum Jerri Dickseski, this competition awards $500 and public recognition at the ODU Literary Festival to a graduate AND an undergraduate writer of prose fiction in the English Department.

For our last event of the 46th LitFest, we have young adult horror icon Andrew Joseph White! Andrew is the author of Hell Followed with Us and The Spirit Bears its Teeth, and he'll be speaking at the University Theater at 7pm, Oct 5th!
