St. Elizabeth Medical Center officially closed just before 2 p.m., MVHS announced. The last patients have been discharged from the ER and the last inpatients transferred to the Wynn Hospital, which opened in downtown Utica at 6 a.m. The transfers continue from St. Luke's.

Utica school board voted 4-2 to put employee on unpaid administrative leave pending paid, independent investigation. Then voted to appoint interim superintendent. Super Bruce Karam outed himself as the employee, claims board didn’t follow legalities, acting on ‘vendetta.’

This is Kious Kelly, he was an assistant nursing manager at Mount Sinai West in New York. His colleagues tell me he was caring for COVID19 patients. Hospital confirms he died: "Today, we lost another hero - a compassionate colleague, friend and selfless caregiver.”
