@fionamchale @SuperValuIRL @LadiesFootball Fiona, I since heard that a request was made through another channel which wasn’t brought to my attention. We’ll now tighten & reinforce our joint TOR to avoid a repeat. Cork LGFA acted in good faith at all times & we’ll continue to support them.

If rent free and available at any time then I wonder why Cork LGFA don’t use it for all home games? The female players are the ones losing out due to whoever is making these calls re fixtures etc.

Hard to comprehend why Mayo v Cork game today was played on @SuperValuIRL Pairc Ui Chaoimh 4G pitch and not in the actual stadium. Surely this pitch can take both games this weekend? Do @SuperValuIRL not sponsor Cork ladies??

@LimerickCLG Disgraceful dragging us down there. PUC is a shithole at the best of times, but a home game on a Saturday night at that time? Even if it was earlier in the day it'd be somewhat acceptable. Was thurles not available?

@aoifemlane No doubt it will. We discussed this game previously with Corm LF & they outlined how Mallow was chosen due to Mayo’s trek south. Perhaps it was thought too late to request to access main pitch when Mallow pitch failed today. Too late when I found out it was switched to 4G.

Saddened that Pat doesn’t remember me meeting him in school during my time as a county coach in Bantry. Similarly misguided on Cork’s coaching funding drawdown. Perhaps it doesn’t suit the narrative.
