OEU Crews responded to a Car vs Pole event on Silver Springs Blvd. this weekend. When service is interrupted, crews are dispatched to assess damages. In this case, a concrete pole needed to be replaced. Crews worked safely and efficiently to get power restored to our customers.

Conduits had to be excavated and relocated to ensure enough control wire was available. Pulling new control cable to the control house would’ve have consisted of running 10 cables per breaker with an average run of 350’. The existing cable was in conduit and reusable.

Ocala Civic Theatre had its opening last night for “Coming Back Like a Song.” OEU supports non-profit organizations that project a positive image and advance a public purpose. Together we can enhance community development by empowering our local arts.
