lock in. its not the best time to touch grass, not the time to disengage. and definitely not the time to be a tourist thinking “I’ll be back when markets look good.” by then, it’s usually too late. this is usually when the next rotation quietly starts forming and you only catch it if you show up every day. one thing I’ve learned watching multiple cycles is that wealth in crypto rarely rotates into the same ideas twice. it doesn’t move from one meme to its sequel. it moves from old attention to new curiosity. that’s why so many people get stuck waiting for the next version of what already worked. most of the time, that’s where capital gets trapped. real rotations usually begin somewhere new: - new tech - new behavior - new use cases - or a catalyst most people aren’t watching yet and they usually start when things feel messy, boring, and unclear like the market right now. to catch it, you need to be present. I didn’t catch things early that made me money because of luck. I caught them because I was around, paying attention and had dry powder when it mattered. so yeah lock in. stay patient. keep some chips ready and show up everyday that’s how you stay in the game long enough to catch the real rotation.

Without joking I've literally been checking the Aave socials daily for the past month and when the app arrives on android. For me this is the end game: The yield here alone can sustain my entire life and retirement without doing a single thing. Is the yield that huge then Nova? Well no, I participate in yield farming (including aave online) for years. But not with all my size yet. There was always an inherent risk with DeFi (smart contract). Not anymore. Everyone is ensured up to 1 million dollars (they already had an "umbrella" protection in place btw which made sure no one lost any funds. This stays, but the million is on top). I usually yield farm some stables online and have a decent amount of euros across several banks for backup (no yield on the bank hence why I don't have everything in there). Now? There's no single reason for me to keep a decent amount in the bank. It's just going all to aave now when it launches. If yields are to believed, it's between 5-6.5%. Which in crypto has actually been sustainable and real even in the worst of days. "Nova, I know better yields than that" Ofcourse, but it's about 0 risk yields. Piece of mind. I don't want to yield farm my retirement even if there's the smallest of risks. Also probably one of the first apps I'll tell my family or friends about to use it. My end goal is always diversification (which I made plenty of posts about on the past) between real estate - yield farming and investments (crypto, spx500, gold, ...). This was the missing piece for me in terms of risk free yield. Looking back on this post while writing it, this almost sounds like an ad. I have never been in touch with Aave before but I'm just that excited about it (unless I'm missing some things).
