Fact of the matter with Aiyuk is that he wont live up to the expectations fans of his in Washington have of him. Ppl already discuss him like he’s already on the team/missing piece — gotta be real, BA missed nearly 2 yrs, he’s not gonna come in and just drop a stack or have career highs (1400+ yds). He was ascending in 2023, had a drop-off year after the extension, & got hurt. Then the drama. That’s a hard ask to expect someone to pick up where they left off 3 years ago after dealing with all the extra shit he dealt with. Bet on something better — whether that’s free agency next year or the draft. That’s exactly what I would do. This shit with Aiyuk screams desperate lol.

Aiyuk started his 2024 season slow and bad coming off his offseason holdout. What will Aiyuk look like being away from football this long plus his first action after a torn ACL/MCL. I’m really starting to wonder if he’s even worth it, plus not knowing what mental state he’s in.
