@Suzierizzo1 My grandparents on both sides of the family tree were farmers. I value what farmers provide for the country. Like local merchants were pushed out by big boxes, small farmers are set to be cannibalized by big-agra corporations. More chemicals, fewer choices, higher prices.

Arkansas farmers who voted for Trump are now begging him for help thanks to his Tariffs! They say that they’re going to lose their Generational farms that have been in their families for hundreds of years. There has been several suicides recently all because of the stress on them

@ImGinnyRobinson @frostbite731000 Then your regret is just performative bull shit. Pathetic that you can't admit your choice to vote was correct, but you chose the worst of the candidates. Still a cult member, aren't you?

@DemocraticWins The pisser is that Varney was chuckling about it, the bastard. Guess he thinks it's a hoot that the cheapest form of beef, famously a staple of many poor families, costs almost as much a pound of a cheap cut of steak did in 2024.

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Fox News just admitted that under Donald Trump's leadership, a pound of beef is now more expensive than the minimum wage. This is insane.

@RadioFreeTom @EggerDC Do you think our power freak president and Sec. MAXIMUM LETHALITY aren't jonesing to destroy another norm by breaking out 'the BIG one?' Trump loves doing the 'unprecedented.'

@carrick510 @RadioFreeTom The GM plant that was the life's blood of my hometown held out until 1987. Just as 'greed is good' was introduced as a business mantra. People still try to sell trickle down. Amazing.

@OGG921 @RadioFreeTom Conversations approximate of course. The plant closed in 1983—but the writing was on the wall long before then.

@WinstonSmith327 @RadioFreeTom Sorry, but saying "I lived through the 70s" should probably include a mention that the speaker was between the ages of 10-20. Even if he was "politically engaged" in HS, (likely not so much, if at all, in the early to mid 70's) his "lived" experience was limited.

@OGG921 @RadioFreeTom Only a minority of any age group is highly politically engaged. The percentage among high schoolers is smaller, but it's not zero.

@RadioFreeTom Don't recall ever sitting in gas lines, though I got my license & had a car ('66 VW Bug) as of Sept '76. I did hear about them. Worked fast food/retail but had no similar experiences to yours. My rust belt adjacent town operated ok under Dems. The greed is good 80s knee capped it

@OGG921 I sat in my car waiting for gas in the 70s, I worked in a store where we had to pull out half our light bulbs, I was very aware of Carter activating Selective Service (I was the first group to register), and saw up close the liberal management of our local cities.

@JBU_Show @MarcoFoster_ @TimJDillon Dismantling agencies created BY Congress, stopping funds approved by Congress from being used as intended, using EOs to bypass legislation passed by Congress/ signed into law, threatening to cut off funds appropriated to certain states to force policy changes, tariffs,... Sheesh

A. They couldn’t do anything. Hence “co-equal branch” B. The admin hasn’t done anything unconstitutional except using emergency powers for tariffs(something multiple presidents including Biden and Obama did) and once the SC ruled, they stopped. Of course, the President could still implement tariffs, according to the SC itself, they just could use emergency powers to do it. C. The vast majority of court cases against the admin are themselves violation of the courts authority. Hence why they all get over-turned (minus the one) once they get into the federal realm. Infact most of the court decisions agaisnt the admin, are by local courts who have zero jurisdiction over the president anyway. They are performative show trials meant to confuse idiots who don’t know how our system/separation of powers work. Congrats on falling for it.

@MarcoFoster_ @TimJDillon Tim dillion is a broken clock thats only right once a day. He's a very funny dude. He should stick to that. Trump is not a dictator, he can't magically turn congress into a 60 seat majority.

@SemperEstVerita @glwatchdog @MarcoFoster_ @TimJDillon And the one they made has been a colossal series of clusterfucks. Also, they had the power/choice to keep their overly amplified voices neutral, but THEY SOLD a hot mess & are now whining as if they aren't at all to blame. Don't bother w/the 'Harris would've been worse' BS

Tim Dillon on MAGA: “It’s the greatest con in history, truly. To run as America First and you’re gonna take care of America and then turn around and go all of these things daycare, Medicare, we have nothing to do with that, we’re fighting wars. It is the greatest scam in history”

@MarcoFoster_ @TimJDillon So, this Tim Dillon guy bought Trump's BS & feels scammed? When did the GOP care about daycare, Medicare, etc.? Oh, I know - NEVER. War? They love that military shit because it's easy to make money for their donors from it.

@PierreBarbosa6 @ima_jerry15016 No, they built "all this" but gave us an ending that didn't fit "all this". They thought the viewers wouldn't notice/care they ignored the laws of physics, human nature, time passing & earlier dialog. Some viewers didn't, some overlooked discrepancies & some viewers NOTICED/CARED
