$MIM CTO retweetledi

My Thesis on $MIM
$MIM was deployed on February 10, 2024, predating any Launchpad. For traders active during this period, it coincided with the rise of Ethereum-based projects redeployed on Solana, including $Shiba, $Pepe, $Doge, and other successful projects from the 2020/2021 bull run, alongside $MIM (Magic Internet Money). $Pepe reached a $20M market cap, the highest at the time, while $MIM achieved the second-highest market cap after its second run-up. This success was not due to the name but the strength of its community. The original developer rugged the project after it hit a $4M market cap, causing it to plummet to $200k. However, a dedicated team of community members took over and drove $MIM to a $9M market cap—not through boosts (which didn’t exist yet on DEX) or marketing dollars, but through mindshare and the power of community.
"Magic Internet Money" is a term that predates the most successful meme coin, $Doge. $Doge, $Pepe, $WIF, and $Bonk all embody the concept of Magic Internet Money. $MIM has the mindshare, community, and endurance to become the next major token on Solana. Despite cycling through multiple CTO teams and experiencing ups and downs, $MIM has never died in its 1.5 years of existence—an extraordinary feat in an era where thousands of memecoins launch and vanish daily. A token with $MIM’s mindshare is rare. Crypto has always rewarded communities that persevere, and $MIM’s community has consistently endured, even if it hasn’t been the loudest in recent months.
In the last day alone, we’ve seen former CTO leads and moderators return—people who haven’t been active since $MIM’s inception. A project with this level of mindshare is poised to succeed. Communities drive projects, and the OG $MIM has always been here, will always be here, and will never die.
