A fight over a minor issue turned revengeful and gruesome when a man tossed a four-year-old boy to the ground and smashed his head on an iron rod after arguing with his father in Maharashtra's Vasai - an area adjacent to Mumbai. The brutal incident took place in a housing society and was captured on CCTV. The video shows the boy, identified as Vignesh - wearing a yellow t-shirt - sitting in a parked auto-rickshaw and playing with other children. The accused man, Sandeep Pawar - who had a fight with the child's father over a minor issue - walked up to Vignesh and pulled him out of the vehicle by holding his legs. Pawar, who can be seen wearing a blue shirt and black pants, then tossed him on the ground once, ran inside the building to smash his head on an iron rod, and threw him on the ground again to avenge the fight with the boy's father. The boy was rushed to a hospital in Mira Road, where he is currently admitted to the ICU. His condition remains critical, officials said. The accused was subsequently arrested, and a case has been filed against him under various sections, officials added. The incident also sparked widespread outrage in the area, with residents expressing concern.

This is the post for those who aren’t aware about recent controversy on Instagram about an influencer called @lifeofpujaa, She is from a village in West Bengal who posts about movies, religion, feminism and capitalism while wearing a normal saree and in modest surroundings.  The drama started when so called privilege influencers specifically Niharika Jain and Otherwarya questioned her "authenticity." The claim? She’s an "industry plant." They found it suspicious that a "village girl" has such high-quality edits and a curated aesthetic.  Pujaa’s brand deals with Netflix etc, a rural woman being financially savvy and "too polished" for her background is a red flag. 🚩  This is seated classism and gatekeeping by these influencers and their coterie. The elite are just mad they no longer have a monopoly on intellectualism and they have birth right of global cinema, literature and culture. If you’re mad that a woman from rural setup having better film recommendations. maybe the problem isn't her "authenticity." Maybe it's your insecurity.

Tomorrow is March 30. Inspector Sridhar ordered his subordinates to teach Bennix a lesson. The court found they treated Jayaraj and Bennix as targets to practice their beating skills. 7 hours of continuous torture. Jayaraj sustained 17 injuries. Bennix sustained 13 injuries. They were forced to clean their own blood off the floor with their clothes. When the clothes soaked through they were made to change and start again. Tomorrow Judge Muthukumaran will sentence all 9 officers. Bennix’s sister Persis said it best. The sentencing should be a warning to every person in authority who thinks power has no limits.
