Franco died as an old man, with dignity and honor.
Hitler shot himself in the fucking head and they burned his corpse.
So yeah...
Franco >>> Hitler

@Apolitical3678 To be honest, who the hell cares? What we need is central italics to commit a Holocaust against Germanic, Celtic, Arab, African, Slavic, Greek, and Jewish populations. That way, civilization can begin to develop in the manner it should have. Perhaps Napoleon was our last hope.

15,000,000 jews did not die in the holocaust.
6,000,000 jews did not die in the holocaust.
271,000 jews did not die in the holocaust.
The holocaust is a specific claim that Germans were attempting to mass exterminate jews through gas chambers and other various methods of execution.
0 jews died in the holocaust

@Plataminorh @1Demgrec The problem is that the Celts were considered subhumans who were obliterated by the great central Italics. There’s clearly a genetic difference between the two groups.
English

@PannonianMantis I mean, who in the fuck thinks Greece did anything after the Romans conquered them? They need to color in central Italy, make the percentage 100%, and then the map would be correct.

I love Rome and Greece as much as the next guy but this is a mentally ill take

Europe was illiterate until the Hellenes and Romans forged its literacy.
English

@RealHellenist 😭😭. Italics using Greek culture doesn’t make Greece relevant or historically important. Only place Central Italy in the box, make the percentage 100%, and that map would be accurate.
English

@MattLinde5 Well, it’s quite simple. When you allow a large number of Celts, who are obviously two or three levels below in the human hierarchy, to settle within Italic territory and then incorporate Anatolian slaves, you can understand why modern Italians are the way they are.

The 20-30% steppe in Iron Age Italics made for a very nice composition, coming mainly from Central European Bell Beaker with some secondary Paleo-Balkan, largely from Ver Sacrum warriors.
And their cultural Orientalization (mainly Greek) made for an ingenious blend of Italic ethos with Hellenic ingenuity. Philhellenism was something of a Pan-European phenomenon since the LBA/Early Iron Age.
After a while the orientalization went too far. Inevitably Magna-Grecia became highly integrated as an element within the Roman world, but what really screwed up their demographic composition was the massive influx of Anatolians, perhaps mostly as slaves with some merchants etc... nothing in particular against the peoples of the Asia minor but this series of events really diluted the Italic core that much of, if not most of Rome's greatness owed to.
