Over the past several weeks, @HopeCrewNTHP participants from the Guthrie Job Corps Center learned appropriate methods to restore “giraffe stone” masonry at the African American-owned Threatt Filling Station on #Route66 in Luther, Oklahoma. #SavingPlaces #TellTheFullStory

Brennen here. What a great afternoon with loads of like-minded folks who love American road travel. It was a fabulous book signing event and we so appreciated @CultureCzarOK and @MagicCityBooks, the premier bookshop in Tulsa. What awesome folks. It was really amazing to catch up with my buddy @StuckeyStop who presented yesterday about her amazing work renewing her family brand and legacy. It was also special to see @rhysfunk, the Director of the OK66 Association, and so many others. Everyone is doing such an awesome job. The day was crowned by a talk from my dear dear friend Michael Wallis. His stories are both entertaining and legendary. @AAA RoadFest did an amazing job setting up this year's event. Make sure you remember to visit Magic City in Tulsa, Amazon online, or many other great online and retail shops to order a copy of Miles to Go now. My next signing will be at the amazing @21cMuseumHotel Oklahoma City on July 1 so see you there!
