Oklahoma State University has learned of the passing of U.S. Air Force Maj. John "Alex" Klinner. He was one of six crewmembers on a KC-135 refueling aircraft that went down in the Middle East. The Cowboy family is grateful for his service to our country and we are keeping his wife, Libby, and young children in our thoughts and prayers. Alex was graduate of the MBA program in OSU's Spears School of Business in 2025.

Thornton will visit OState on June 4. He has scheduled a decision date of July 4th.

OU has more resources to put a roster together than OSU, no question. And so does every other SEC school. And OSU is, at best. Middle of the pack in the Big 12 in resources that pertain to acquiring players. And Josh has out performed middle of the pack. OU has multiple pitchers in the Dodgers organization that I cover, and so was Lyle Lockhart Jr. Lyles little brother, Kyle, was a commit to OU. They pulled his scholarship because they needed someone with more experience to compete in the SEC. They went and bought a 2 year older or so version of that recruit because they could. That's what they told him and every other recruit that year. They were able to do that because they had the resources to do so. Just one example that is more behind the scenes than the payrolls of a lot of these schools would be, the scholarship discrepancies, NIL etc.

All fair points, a world we would ALL love for OSU to live in. Either produce to the level we all want for OSU, or find someone else who will. That's great, until you can't explain the execution piece of that positioning. And, to parlay off of that thought, my suggestion would be that OSU fans need to put their money where their mouths are. And support the programs, through financial means and attendance, at a level that would support these types of bottom lines. Ones ALL of us would like to have. But, OSU fans are getting the "bang for their buck" they're putting into it, and in baseball, TBH, by quite a bit. You can disagree with that all you want, but that's not an opinion, it's math. That's where folks who always have such criticism and such bottom-line stances lose impact with others who know enough behind the curtains. #gopokes #okstate

Every player, every year is a free agent that has to be acquired/bought. The schools with the most money will have the best players ,regardless of what your stadium looks like Doyle Both Witherspoon Phillips We're all transfers. None are 23, you are correct. So let's use 21-22 as the gage, and nothing changes. They are still the best pitchers in College Baseball, and O'Brate is a 0 factor for those guys,
