The 4H FVG level has been my bread and butter lately. Form a bias the day before. Wait for price to return to a new 4H fvg, wait for the sweep, wait for the confirmation, then commit. Lots of waiting involved.... Don't force it just because it returned to a higher tf fvg. Wait for the market to make a sweep first. That's where the edge is. Example below is yesterday's win on $EU.

@andrew_nfx Don’t agree. It’s perfectly fine to buy one and focus on getting a payout without gambling 5-10 accounts away. If you have lots of money to buy prop accounts, then might as well use that money to trade live.

Imagine spending 3 months passing a prop firm eval What are you doing bro Increase your risk, try to pass the account in 1-3 trades if possible If you fail, just buy more If you can’t afford to buy multiple prop firm accounts - you shouldn’t be trading them in the first place

I burned through $85k trading while trading like an "expert." I understood price action. I knew how to trade. I even had some win streaks here and there. Then I'd blow it all and start from 0. Again. It took a while to realize that the problem wasn’t my strategy. It was something else entirely:

@tradecorecap Actually the FTMO restricted news events are not that much, they don’t follow the red folder events of forex factory. There are far less restrictions events that they have in their calendar. It’s pretty doable actually.

I was considering purchasing a 200k account with FTMO, but the news trading rule is a major concern for me. On the standard account, if a trade hits take profit or stop loss within the restricted news window, it can lead to account termination. Additionally, there’s no swing account option available for the 200k size, which makes it even more challenging. The news restriction is the main issue. It essentially means I have to close positions ahead of high impact news events. For those already trading under these conditions, how do you manage this effectively? 💔

@TheStonkDad If you are now trading to keep the calendar green (which looks cool, I admit) then you are now also making choices that may not be beneficial to your profits. Such as taking slightly above BE trades for sake of not losing.

You wonder why you keep blowing accounts... Because one green trade makes you feel invincible. Then you size up. Then you force trades. Then you donate it back. Stay humble. Stay consistent.

Dus. BIG WIN met long olie behaald, BIG WIN met short edelmetalen behaald. En mochten de US aandelenmarkten nu miraculeus omhoog draaien dan is dat next level. Maar het lijkt bijna te mooi om waar te zijn.

The first post on $DXY $USDX feb 4 was still spot on. 100.500 incoming. Will be interesting to see what happens after that level.

I timed the market today. $NQ +1.8R Was going to add if it would have dropped in the green zone, SL to cover the area. Wasn't needed. Didn't have a tp, just got out when I thought it was enough.

I'm long #COPPER since today. Let's see!
