A special mention to Nathan, who got off a flight from Poland at 7:30am, and drove straight to school to get a lift to Honley and was opening the batting in game 1! Great dedication to school and sport @BPS_Trust

Immensely proud of our cricket team- they came in during their half term holidays to partake in the @PennineSSP cricket finals. They were up against some incredibly talented opposition but we really enjoyed the day and managed to get a win!

Our y5/6 boys were great representatives of school at the @PennineSSP cricket tournament today, qualifying for the finals. The real bonus today however being we have 8 new cricket lovers who will hopefully play the game for many years!

Our girls have finally won some well deserved silverware After 2 years of being a fantastic team and many near misses they won the @BPS_Trust football league tonight. Well done girls- great positive attitudes throughout and enjoy your success!

Our KS2 pupils were very excited to receive a visit from author @samuelsedgman yesterday. Some children bought a copy of his latest book and got it signed! Huge thanks to Sam, @BPS_Trust and Thoughtful Spot Bookshop for organising this amazing event. A great time was had by all.

Thank you to @Giantsrl (and Aidan and Kate McGowan) for the tickets today 25 of our children had a great time, just a shame about the result!

Thanks to @PennineSSP for a great evening of footy last night. Well done to our girls who finished top, winning 5 out of 6 games. Thanks too to all of our great parents who are always there to support

A huge congratulations to Arianna who won the @AcademicsHFX design a Christmas card competition. She was over the moon to see her design printed and to find out it was being sent to every primary school in Kirklees. What a lovely early Christmas present as well! @BPS_Trust

Finally our Christmas Fayre... A huge thank you to all our families for joining us. It was really busy, especially the queue to see Santa! It was lovely to see lots of items for sale made by the children in school. A fantastic end to our Festive Friday @BPS_Trust

We wore our Christmas jumpers today as part of Festive Friday and raised £142 for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice @ForgetMNotChild Thank you to our families for your donations! @BPS_Trust

What a way to start our Festive Friday in school! The whole school were treated to a performance of the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. We can't wait to see what the rest of the day has in store for us. @BPS_Trust
