@ShonetteBason @OL_Primary Hi Shonette, thank you for your reply. They have indeed got one in each hand. This was our very first session, so children were still getting used to using both hands but they know they need to use both at the same time. 😀

@OL_Seedlings @OL_Primary If this is Squiggle are they drawing with two crayons - mark making with two tools means we are working the left side of the body and right side simultaneously which strengthens all gross motor muscles and clutching is fine motor control. 😊😊 #scienceinsquiggle

This week is World Nursery Rhyme Week. Todays song was ‘The Big Ship Sails’. We’ve had lots of fun singing and having a go at signing. ThiThis nursery rhyme was new to lots of us

Celebrating our individuality by wearing odd socks for #AntiBullyingWeek

We have had lots of fun developing our gross motor skills whilst scarf dancing!

We have read 'Pumpkin Soup' today. The children have enjoyed exploring pumpkins, making imaginary soup and potions!

P worked with Miss Hills to create a fabulous hedgehog house with the resources available. #eyfs #Autumn

Lot of kneading, rolling, prodding and sticking this morning to make our hedgehogs. Strengthening our hand muscles.#eyfs #autumn #finemotor

Our little Seedlings loved the story about the hedgehog so we added playdough hedgehogs and hedgehog houses to our provision.
