For early career researchers! If you are interested in auditory cognitive science, contextual effects, auditory predictions, laminar fMRI, MEG or computational modeling consider applying for this PhD positions... academictransfer.com/en/298793/2-ph…

(please RT) Join our team @UCLEarInstitute @UCLBrainScience ! Auditory Neuroscience Research Assistant position available (deadline July 3rd 2020). For more info, and to submit an application, search for job#1865043 on UCL’s job application site (ucl.ac.uk/work-at-ucl/se…).

Just also saw that Bob Knight and Sabine Kastner were selected as co-recipients of the Award for Education in Neuroscience #sfn19 for their work with this journal. Congrats, it’s a great idea for #scicomm! It is surprisingly hard to write a jargon-free article!

2nd chance @Neurosci2019: SG (Seung-Goo) Kim will be presenting our poster (K5) on "MEG correlates of periodicity relevant to pitch perception in human auditory cortex" at Monday's poster session at 8 am.

Unsolicited advice: always finish your postdoc projects. Otherwise, years later, your own postdoc will take it up and use much fancier analysis methods! Come visit Seung-Goo Kim’s poster #28 @apanhearing on correlates of pitch using MEG!
