Friday was a very productive day of meaningful conversations with members & staff of the Ohio General Assembly. We appreciate the work of our OMEA delegation-President Brian Stevens, President-Elect Danielle Shaub, Advocacy Chair Paul Glader, and Executive Director Jay Wardeska.

The Arts Education Partnership unites leaders to advance arts education for every student. This week, OMEA Executive Director Jay Wardeska represented OMEA on the AEP Advisory Council. Coalition work makes advocacy stronger & secures lasting access for all. #WeAreOMEA #artsed

The OMEA advocacy team spent today on Capitol Hill meeting with Ohio’s Senators Husted & Moreno as well as Representatives @RepEmiliaSykes & David Joyce sharing the importance of supporting equitable access to a quality music education for every student. #nafmehillday @NAfME
