The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is observed on September 30th and honours the lost children, families, communities, and survivors of Canada’s residential schools. #truthandreconciliationday

It is a day for education and reflection on the ongoing impacts of the residential school system that forcible removed over 150,000 Indigenous children from their homes to strip them of their language and culture.
