Our forward sweep just finished Tradouw Pass as he clears the route for the 31st #OldMutualWealthDC There's good news and bad... it's still there (but a lot easier in a Hoek's Toyota), but there's a lovely tailwind. And it is as dry as a bone.

Expect a light Southerly breeze for most of the day, gentle tailwinds from Barrydale, but a niggly headwind to remind us why we love those last three hills so much. Hydrate well,keep some good humour for the final 25km and enjoy potentially the kindest weather we have had.

The early starters might need some arm warmers or a light windbreaker, with 5 am temps in the mid-teens, but with highs of 26 for Swellendam and 28 for Ashton and Bonnievale, it’s more about staying cool than warm; out on the road, that probably means low to mid-30s.
