while you’re desperately trying to pretend like the catholic church is some great institution that creates “good” people let us not forget this tweet that started the entire conversation. you’re all the proof i need that it doesn’t make good people. 🤷‍♀️

@Richard51650248 Our having children is proof that we exist or existed. Having ancestors proves nothing, least of all that "we could easily have been one of them". Nor is it "the only way we learn from past mistakes". I learned from my past mistake of religious credulity by myself. .

@OMear89732 What is th point of being born if There is after life? Our having ancestors is proof of our having been here before and we could easily have been one of them in that other lifetime. It is the only way we learn from past mistakes.
