@on7un Thanks for checking these. Very interesting results. I would have expected less change in 300 MHz. They might have a filter that has a sharp edge.

@ibelings Not so good news Peter, I measured two units, INTERNAL PLL ( so not 10 MHz locked ) At 10,7 GHz NF 0,67 dB gain 56,51 dB. At 10,4 GHz NF 7,74 dB gain 19,6 dB . Also checked gain figures on spectrum and it gives the same difference in gain ( and noise floor )

@ibelings Hi Peter, I have a few SMW PLL dual output LNBs here ( LO 10.0 and 9.750 . I will do some gain and noise figure measurements @ 10,4 GHz later today .

@ZhaoFen37759626 This combiner was introduced by HB9BBD. There where several presentations ( Orebro, Dorsten , Tri Studne ) The only presentation I found on line is here : docplayer.net/154377619-10-g… To combine two PA's only adjacent ports are used

@g4cch I suggest using a hot plate to heat the board to 100°C or so, then SMD soldering is much easier 😀

For the past 8-months, Deep Space Station 43 has been undergoing upgrades. @NASAVoyager-2 has been waiting for us to be able to send it commands once again.
On Friday 30th October, we sent those commands & after a 34hour 48 min round trip time, a "hello" came back! #DSS43 @CSIRO
