Power Crisis: Because of how things are politically charged, I prefer not to comment and will just endure the situation in the country - Efia Odo

@Enock_Masters @tv3_ghana Stupid boy, just watch the video and tell us what’s political in it. Ofui
English

@tv3_ghana You're my pastor but, stop the games. Who doesn't know you and Pentecost. She told you the Honest truth. If you enter politics, you will be treated as a politician. Just stay away from our church and join your beloved NPP fully. Don't mix our church with politics
English

Following a tearful apology from the Chief of Staff on behalf of the government, Apostle Eric Nyamekye has addressed the comments made by Dr. Mary Awusi.
Apostle Nyamekye stated he holds no grudges, suggesting the situation ultimately brought more attention to the church and its mission.

@The1957News The man of God can say it how it is but to not utter a word in the Akuffo Addo’s 8 years and to suddenly talk about it today when the government is barely one-quarter makes him a bias and sycophantic leader. He should get his shit together.
English

@MaxwellT60135 @thecophq That’s how most politicians talk, they know nothing would happen to them when they talk anyhow.
English

These are the precise words of Apostle Eric Nyamekye on the galamsey menace. Kindly listen and share.

@HELLOTrinity3 @Citi973 Yes, they don’t owe anyone explanation except the church members.
You don’t pay tithes or offering to them so what do you need that explanation for.
English

@Citi973 This is clearly the reason why the woman spoke the truth.
Imagine him saying owes no one explanations aside the church members.
They are always growing horns.
Just thieves without help to church members.
What's STRUCTURE without HELP TO MEMBERS???
English

“The Methodist Church is one of the most structured churches in this country. Decisions are made at the Leaders’ Meeting, then moved to the Quarterly Meeting, the Synods, and finally the Conference. So it can never be true that we receive resources in the Church and do not account for them."— Most Rev. Prof. Johnson Kwabena Asamoah-Gyadu, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, reaffirms the Church’s commitment to transparency and strict accountability following a viral video on social media.

@EngmannEbby @thecophq There are videos of him on the galamsay sites condemning the act in 2022 on this platform, is it that you find it difficult seeing?
English

@KTB37033674 @MrIrish3 Look at another fool, we pay taxes to politicians and we should demand the right things from them.
How do some of you think!!!
English

To say you doubt Rev Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost in Ghana is a true man of God because he complained about the worsening situation of galamsey in Ghana is sad.
Mary Awusi of Free Zones is freely attacking the Pentecost Chairman because she feels Ghana has been willed to them(NDC). People cannot freely express themselves. They cannot share their views and opinions today.
It’s either they’re arrested for speaking up or government appointees run those high personalities down. I’m extremely sad if this is the country we’re going to build.
To even think that this lady has a husband? Ei. Then that man is dealing with a lot.
She run down the entire Pentecost church by attacking their leader. The video I saw was disgusting and disgraceful. All these people are handling state institutions. My goodness!

English

@MrIrish3 Dr Mary spoke the truth. You people don't like truth.
There's nothing wrong with what she said. She didn't insult him. She spoke the truth in a very nice way. Simple.
English

In 2022 under NPP Government, Apostle Eric Nyamekye the Chairman of Pentecost Church took with him the entire media to capture the destruction caused by galamsey, he condemned Galamsey and called for action… no NPP member insulted him, Today, he’s being insulted by NDC Government appointees for advocating for the end of galamsey!
Wow!!! NPP was very tolerant.
English

@Yaw_Akey Though I don't suport the treats.
But we should be also be truthful to ourselves
This same pastor was on galamsey site praying under one govt. & even pray & fast for cedis depreciation under same Govt. he didn't use this words then. Now under diff govt his tone has changed why?🧏

@PeakSika @AnnanPerry These towns Bantama, Suame, maakro like we have wrong them… everyday light out

On the issue of Dumsor, on 27th March, 2026 the ECG released a statement to inform Ghanaians of the commencement of transformer replacement and upgrade e exercise in parts of Accra and so, there will be outages.
MPs are even designing flyers for the presentation but some people think the outages are deliberate.
Also, due to the fire outbreak at one of the substations yesterday, 100W was cut off from the national grid.
At no point should the issue of the current outages be politicized and make it a by force Dumsor thing.
Below is the evidence:

English

@Dontshout21 @kay_big45 There is a cause to that, you think it started today. Go ask their grandma’s what Rawlings did to them, then you would understand.
It’s the same hate that has been infused in the people from Volta about NPP.
Atleast, the Ashanti region gave NDC some votes but not d other way
English

@kay_big45 I’m Npp supporter but the hate which has been infused to our marked woman towards the NDC Government is insane sometimes we have to mind our thoughts and put political sentiments aside and give them their flowers for any good work they do .

I I've seen many Ghanaian youth criticize the government for providing motorcycles 🏍️ as part of the primary healthcare program.
Some of you haven't traveled outside the big cities to understand how most Ghanaians live and what they endure.
This is Fanteakwa South, where Ken Ofori Attah's brother serves as a Member of Parliament.
Besides the lack of electricity and clean water, cars can't pass through these communities. The only transportation option is motorbikes, and even then, sometimes we have to get off and push or get stuck.
Thank you, President @JDMahama @mohgovgh, for thinking outside the box and going on the ground to bring healthcare access to Ghanaians' doorsteps.
@teamqha, for the past 13 years, has focused on healthcare access in underserved communities, and it's encouraging to see a government that understands what that means.
Now, to the Ghanaian youth, travel outside the cities, and you'll gain a better appreciation for some of these issues.
