Canada’s Ag Day is almost here! This year marks the 10th anniversary of this nationwide celebration of the people who grow our food and the essential role agriculture plays in Canada’s prosperity, health, and well-being. It’s the perfect time to recognize the innovation, dedication, and resilience of Canada’s agriculture and food sector. Whether you’re sharing a story, joining the conversation, or simply saying thanks, every post helps shine a light on the people behind Canadian food. How you can take part: - Share a photo of your favourite Canadian-grown meal - Highlight a farmer or agriculture champion who inspires you - Showcase agriculture in your community — from local farms to your plate - Say thank you to the people who make it all possible 📢 Don’t forget to tag #CdnAgDay and join the celebration happening across the country! #ONTAg #CanadianAgriculture #CanadianFarmers

Happy National Bean Day! Canada is one of the world’s top producers of dry beans, including navy, kidney, and black beans, mostly grown in Ontario and the Prairies. Dry beans are part of the legume family, plants that can take nitrogen from the air and put it back into the soil. Along with chickpeas, lentils, and dry peas, they’re classified as pulses — the dry seed of a legume. Unlike soybeans and peanuts, pulses are very low in fat. #ONTAg #NationalBeanDay #Beans #DryBeans
