Uber will not be dictating the price of taxi fares in Ireland. Fixed fares below the price of the meter is a form of exploitation of taxi drivers. This will cause friction chaos and potential disruption within the industry.

Remember reading how during the Famine and Cromwell eras in Ireland, a very small proportion of native Irish would export cattle and grain, or convert to Protestantism for favour, while their compatriots were literally eating grass from the ditches. Also, here is a photo of Banty McEnaney!
