1. Please slow down, and obey all traffic laws not only in school zones, but in neighborhoods.
2. Comply with local school drop off and pick up procedures.
3. Yield to students at crosswalks.
4. Put your phone down, texting is illegal while driving.

@MFrizzell85 By the time I responded to the secen the Bomb Unit had left also. Someone put an item inside a community trash can which blew up. No injuries/ minimal if any damage, but many residents called in.

Media: We have recovered the remains of a missing adult male in the 11400 block of W.167th. The Johnson Co. Park Police and the OPPD are investigating. No immediate threat to the public.

Media: We are currently working 3 crashes southbound U.S. 69 HWY south of W.135th. One crash includes our Patrol car. The highway is icy at this location. KDOT is en route to treat the roadway KHP is assisting.
