@KimbleeFucker Your post is amusing to me because I can tell you started in the mid-2010s and don't really have that strong of a grasp on anime/manga history yourself. Level of animation skill is about the same now as it was back then. What changed were the methods used and dominant aesthetics

a huge tourist indicator is being completely unaware that anime animation used to be better in the 90s and 2000s and progressively got worse as soulless CG integration overtook deliberate work
