Honda Racing eMS online qualifier 1:38.861 ⏱️ - P2 global The last 24 hours have been a roller coaster of emotions, a rather intense battle with @MTCRV1 where I managed to take P1 twice before finally being overtaken with 20 minutes to go. In any case, I can be very happy with the lap time and the result. I hope I can also perform at my best in the final in December. #GT7 #HondaRacingeMS

I'm a bit limited since I can't post races directly in the game, only official races from PD are available. But there’s definitely room for more competition formats based on specific car manufacturers. Just look at what iRacing has done: giving golden opportunities to communities and letting them create and share their own events. For example, we could have separate Manufacturer Cups for each brand, something similar to what’s been attempted with Toyota and Mercedes. The problem is, those efforts never really reached their full potential. In my opinion, they weren’t properly supported. There should be a system where more brands can host their own championships. That would not only attract players who are passionate about certain cars, but it would also give those series more visibility. This kind of structure could generate revenue too, helping to fund online broadcasts and give more racers the recognition they deserve. Not everything has to be offline, there’s a huge online player base with serious talent that deserves to be seen. Offline events are great, but online broadcasted events should play a much bigger role. That said, Polyphony Digital has been doing this for over 25 years, so I’m confident they’ll come up with something. Hopefully, we’ll see it all come together in GT8.

The Nations Cup season has finally come to an end. To be fair, I didn’t put much practice into it this time. But looking at the results, the gap between the top 10 and the rest of the field is massive. That kind of point spread turns the competition into something that really only benefits a small group of people who might actually gain something from it. I truly believe the best drivers earned their spots and deserved to qualify for the World Finals, so congratulations to them. But honestly, it's worrying. There aren’t many new players reaching this level, and when they do, they lack the exposure they need. Unless you qualify for a World Tour event, an incredibly difficult task, you get almost no visibility. Dealing with that kind of pressure and those margins is extremely tough. Without exposure or support, it’s nearly impossible to break through, get noticed, and eventually find sponsors. And without that backing, it’s hard to push yourself to the limit and truly grow. That, to me, is one of the biggest limitations of the current system. I really hope things change in the future. We need a better structure for the Nations Cup, something beyond just the Nations and Manufacturers Cups. Those are great events, but they’re designed for a very small group of elite players. I'm not just speaking as a content creator. I’d genuinely love to see more people getting the chance to compete, gain exposure, and grow within and beyond Gran Turismo. That kind of visibility could open doors to real-world racing opportunities, which is what this should all be about. So yeah, the system needs a few changes. There are great players out there who just aren’t being seen, and the way things are now doesn’t allow for that. But that’s a topic for a much longer post. For now, congrats again to everyone who made it through. You earned it.

my official season ends with a 16th place. there's not much to say, i've never had the speed to fight for qualification. I've been competing at the highest levels on GT for a while now and maybe the saddest thing is that i feel like I've reached the limit of my abilities, i have done everything i possibly could to make some progress but no matter how hard i work, i can't change that, if anything i feel slower than last year. I'm good, just not good enough for a world where opportunities exist only for a select few.

I know what you've been through. Speed, motivation and commitment are not enough when so many negative things happen out of your control, but I've seen how you managed to get back up from every negative situation. You are a brilliant person and continue to be an inspiration to me, i'm looking forward to celebrate your successes on gt and in life in general.

I wish I was enough of an asshole to share some chats I had with some of the people involved in the Renault situation during the season, but I won't, cause I know they weren't the first ones to do what they did, in some cases, even worst things happened, but nobody said anything.

30/11/24 Tokyo My legs were sore from walking a lot the day before so today i decided to go for a morning run because I hate myself 🙃 visiting Tokyo is truly a unique experience and it was interesting to see some moments of everyday life while getting lost in the streets of the city
