What a great day we had during today's lab retreat of @orc_wur: an amazing lecture on the great pandas of @Ouwehand_Zoo, a -way to difficult- pubquiz on animals, a nice time in the zoo, and a tasty bbq to end. Thanks to @SjoerdSlagman, @RuggeriLab and Thijmen for organising!

I saw many Tweets coming by to remind us scientists that science is not all we do! Today we managed to combine science and leisure. We visited @Ouwehand_Zoo with 50 colleagues where we had a great talk about 🐼, a pub(less)quiz and a stroll through the park. Great teambuilding 💪

In Lucas' second paper that came out this week, published in @ACS_Langmuir (doi.org/10.1021/acs.la…), he expanded on this grafting-to method, by demonstrating it can be used on a variety of substrates, and for a range of block copolymers.
