Thrive recently held an art workshop, where students were tasked to create an art piece based on a previous drawing they had done. This was a great opportunity for the students to learn a new skill, and well done to all who took part!🎉

Our #HelloYellow Day was a huge success!💛 It was a brilliant day filled with positivity and raising awareness for a great cause. We were able to raise £342.64 for Young Minds which we are so proud of! Thank you to everyone who donated and got involved.🎉

Young Minds are an amazing charity who do so much to help young people with their mental health stuggles. We can’t wait for our #HelloYellow day, where we will be trying to raise as much as we can for this worthy cause.

Friday 10th October is World Mental Health Day🧠💛. We are showing our support by participating in #HelloYellow day by Young Minds. More details will soon follow.

Last week, our Y11 Geography students spent a few days in Birmingham where they have undertaken essential field work for their studies. They exhibited exemplary attitudes and fully engaged with the learning opportunities presented during the trip. Well done to everyone involved!

🎉This week there has been a grand total of 22,055 achievement points awarded to our students! 🏆A special shout out to our Year 8 students, who gained the most achievement points with 5,659 awarded to them!

Guests listened to speeches by Mrs Dickens, our Strategic Sendco, Mr McKinniss, our Head of School, and Dr Tim Roome, Senior Educational Psychologist for Sandwell Inclusion Support. It was a brilliant event, and we would like to thank everyone for joining us!

It was a great opportunity for visitors to experience Connect, as they were able to see the new facility and what it offers for all of our students.
