I’m just tweeting feelings while I sit and cry alone in a doctor’s exam room. If that sounds awful, it is. But I’m grateful. I don’t know what I’m going to say to my husband right now. I have some tough choices to make.

I am sorry to tell you all that the news is very bad. The cancer trial accelerated and spread the tumors, which are now in my lungs as well. Complete failure that has left me with open, up healing wounds. I am devastated right now.

Tomorrow is my second “big” biopsy; they’ll be taking samples from all of my major tumors tomorrow and measuring the progress against where I was 4 weeks ago. Last injection in this clinical trial round on Thursday, PET scan next week, then we get a sit-down to discuss results.
