@DetwilerMaximus @TreVeyonH4 Slavery during Biblical times differed from modern 1800s American slavery. Also, it is known that the abolishment of American slavery was largely due to Christian movement. No true Christian believes that enslavement of African Americans is right

@TreVeyonH4 Sad to hear these two must support slavery, as they must also support other inhumane things that may have been said or written by someone in the Bible... very disappointing that they do not understand the history and intention of religious texts.

@80wZoe @TreVeyonH4 You realize Jesus does oust all of us, right? “No one is good but God alone”. The whole point of Jesus’ work on the cross is because we need a savior from sin. Jesus is full of grace, but he also provides truth to both claimed “righteous” and unrighteous

Man, all the comments. If Jesus ever did come back, would you all even recognize him? I don't think you would.... I don't know, the Jesus I learned would have embraced the pride group, invited them in, loved them, preach to them, still love them after their choice to stay or leave.... He would never oust them. If he did, he would have to oust all of us.

@80wZoe @TreVeyonH4 In that same chapter he also said “it’s not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick”. He broke bread with self aware sinners seeking righteousness. Also, Jesus repeatedly told sinners to “go and sin no more”. Breaking bread with sinners doesn’t mean acceptance of the sin

@TreVeyonH4 I am not a Christian, but im pretty sure the Jesus I learned about would 100% welcome in all, with sins attached. I mean, he went out of his way to show you that when he broke bread with the worst of his time, tax collectors and prostitutes. He loved all and alienated none.

@beyoncegarden Until I read the caption and comments, I 100% took this video as a Michael Knowles winning debate. Just cause he/him/she/her is loud and dramatic doesn’t meaning “winning”. You and I watched two completely different debates apparently…

@whatsontapnba The plan was to have a qb under a rookie contract so that a superbowl roster can be built. JJ’s rookie injury and now seemingly increasing timeline to be ready is hampering that plan. The Vikes are certainly backed into a corner, because that window is open now

Regardless of whether you’re pro JJ McCarthy or not, I think the Vikings backed themselves into a corner where they need to either choose Mccarthy’s timeline or Jefferson’s timeline. They drafted a 21 year old who needed tons of time. Jefferson entered his prime. You have a veteran roster. Coming off an embarrassing season. If Jefferson has another bad year in the lumps of JJ’s youth, why would he not request a trade? Kyler Murray adds a way higher floor, and also would make NOTHING for a year. The fanbase can be divided all they want, but the Vikings put them in a spot where they need to make a tough decision at QB

@Kevins_Right Messiah? Also, cause KOC has had success with qbs, Kyler has a ton of upside and is still in his 20s, he only costs 1.3 mil, and the roster is somewhat superbowl ready while JJ is not

Why are idiotic Vikings fans so dead set on signing recycled QB's...it's been going on since Fran Tarkenton left. I'm watching in real time Vikings fans convince themselves that Kyler Murray is the next Mosiah. It's quite mind numbing.

@SkolStateOfMind I don’t believe JJ is actually that good of a qb. In college, he never excelled in anything, though he was a winner. I believe JJ is a longer project, and the initial plan was to build a team with a qb in a rookie contract, but JJ is too far away imo, if he is ever ready

I gotta say this — and some might not like it. I don’t see the overwhelming infatuation on Vikings Twitter with Kyler Murray. It bothers me because just over a year ago, a lot of people were big on drafting a young quarterback and letting him develop into the franchise QB. Now suddenly the focus has shifted to a quarterback who hasn’t had much team success in seven seasons in the NFL and has dealt with frequent injuries. I just don’t get it. Maybe some people are subconsciously hoping for another Sam Darnold-type situation, but I really don’t think Kyler automatically puts the Vikings in Super Bowl contention. And here’s the real question: does bringing him in stunt the potential growth of J.J. McCarthy? Or are the Vikings just repeating the same cycle they’ve followed for the past 20+ years — bringing in veteran stopgap quarterbacks who might pop for a season, but ultimately lead to no real postseason success? I’m just asking the question. Some people will call me a hater or whatever — I really don’t care. But what happens if the Vikings do sign Kyler Murray and things don’t go as planned? What if he struggles or gets injured again? Are we going to jump right back on Twitter demanding McCarthy start? At some point we have to stop jumping from quarterback to quarterback. Development on the roster matters, and that’s one of the main reasons this franchise hasn’t reached a Super Bowl.

Heartbreaking: The legendary Odell Beckham Jr. talks about the struggle of living on a 5-year $100 million contract. He says it's nearly impossible to build generational wealth with that money. OBJ only made ~$99 Million in his career 😔💔

Former ESPN talking head Pablo Torre says of the U.S. hockey women winning gold, "maybe there's the capacity for us to celebrate American dominance in a way that feels genuine as opposed to, you know, a series of lies to prop up a certain administration." Joe Scarborough adds, "I will say how hilarious that the sort of MAGA, online MAGA World were celebrating Alysa Liu's gold medal without a hint of any irony. Celebrating the immigrant" as Eugene Robinson agrees, "Oops. Yes, they you know, they're celebrating this. You know, “we're supposed to hate this, but we can't hate it because USA, USA.”

@gregmcantwell @DarrigoMelanie It’s a fundamental right to citizens. Hence, proof of citizenship. Not some undocumented Mr. Jorge that isn’t a citizen. The only way to weed out non-citizens out is through proof

@DarrigoMelanie Voting is a fundamental right, and Republicans want to strip it away from millions of people. Why would they do something so deeply un-American? Because they don't think they can win the midterms. It's really that simple.

Accepted forms of ID to vote under the SAVE Act: 1. Enhanced REAL ID: Only available in 5 states. Costs up to $50 and requires a birth certificate which 40M Americans lack access to. 2. Valid passport: 146M Americans do not have and costs at least $130. Trump gutted the agencies issuing them. 3. U.S. military ID card presented with military record of service. 4. Government-issued photo ID showing place of birth: 300M Americans do not have one, and costs up to $50. 5. Non-Enhanced REAL ID driver’s license, state ID, or tribal ID shown in conjunction with a birth certificate (40M lack access to) that matches your last name (which 69M women do not have due to marriage) and other forms of documentation. Ironically, the states the SAVE Act hurts the most: West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. If the SAVE Act was actually a Voter ID bill, then it would propose making the validate forms of ID free and easily accessible, bringing it in line with the 24th Amendment. Until then, it’s just another Republican voter suppression bill, that makes registering to vote, voting, and ensuring your voting status harder.

146M Americans do not have a passport. 40M eligible voters do not have access to their birth certificate. 69M women do not have a birth certificate that matches their married name. The SAVE Act denies the right to vote for millions of Americans by requiring specific forms of ID that millions of U.S. citizens do not have, and requiring them to effectively pay a poll tax, which is illegal, in order to get those documents to vote. The SAVE Act is voter suppression. Republicans know that Trump has made them deeply unpopular, so they know they need to cheat to win.

I can’t understand the problem with producing a valid ID to vote. The Democrats have been producing a death certificate to vote for years.

@Jules_Rules13 @bottyshaker9000 @TeamKClark Aren’t most constitutional rights for US citizens? I feel voting for the leaders of the country and states should be completed by people with legal citizenship status. I can’t vote for city ward members if I don’t live in that ward. Same should apply for the country

@bottyshaker9000 @TeamKClark You shouldn’t need a birth certificate or marriage certificate to exercise a constitutional right. Voting isn’t a passport application. The whole point of this is to make people feel inconvenienced enough that they decide not to vote. Voter suppression, plain and simple.
