So sorry to hear of the passing of the incomparable Colin Jillings last night, aged 91. Jillo was a legend of racing, and his many friends on both sides of the Tasman will remember him with great fondness. He was a fountain of knowledge and advice and will never be forgotten. RIP

Deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Megan Taylor, who lost her life on the racetrack today. Unfortunately we in the NT know the perils of racefalls only too well, having lost two young ladies in Darwin in the last 10 years. RIP.

Deepest condolences to the Kneebone family on the passing earlier this week of Alfie. One of the great men of NZ racing, He always had a word of encouragement, was a great listener and a mentor to many young racing writers. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. RIP Alf

One of the greats of NZ racing, Trevor McKee, who co-trained Sunline, has passed away today after a battle with illness. A gentleman and friend to so many we will miss him.
