@Poldarn @GeorgeElek Fairly sure they'd be saying the same about us. And they have possession percentages and touches in the box to point to.
English

@GeorgeElek Charlton are basically the Championship version of Wycombe.
This has the exact same flow as all those League 1 Wycombe games.
Hopefully we don't lose to a scrappy goal near the end
English

@Joe_Citrone Part of me feels like we got him just to keep BdK happy. Then he decided to rule himself out for the rest of the season anyway.
English

Roosken still missing out on the squad, despite a place opening up due to MPH’s injury.
Proper head-scratcher of a signing, that. #oufc
English

@JDT147 @GeorgeElek You're practically safe now, just relax for the weekend and you'll give yourself an easier time of things for next season.
English

Three in a row, the better team in all three and it should have been by a wider margin tonight. Really feels like Bloomfield is building something. No reason we can’t make it four on Saturday 💛💙 #oufc
Oxford United@OUFCOfficial
This team! 💛 🟡🔵 #OUFC | FT: 1 - 0
English

@mej050593 @Joe_Citrone You're after a perfect weekend of results every week, and that's not going to happen. We were again the only team in the bottom 6 to get a win and gain ground, we won't have that luxury in many of the last 10 fixtures.
English

@Joe_Citrone They didn’t though, our result did put us in better place, others didn’t ,without points both got,we are above them, that’s a better position surely, still as said could have been worse.still going to be hard,6pts next 2 brilliant for us
English

@IanLey74 @AllSaintsnews98 Because we have better players than Blackburn or West Brom, must be
English

@AllSaintsnews98 Why have you included Oxford players in this and not Blackburn or West Brom???
English

@CharlieFarnsba9 @POMPEYBENNY Please keep that attitude up 👍🏻
English

@POMPEYBENNY Nah, that win for them helped really, too far from us to be concerned (7 points adrift) and kept Baggies below us.
English

@Joe_Citrone A positive post from you? Miracles do indeed happen
English

Unbelievable.
Best performance of the season by far.
I hope we haven’t screwed ourselves over that Currie injury, but that’s huge.
From dead and buried to back in the race. #oufc
English

@OUFCOfficial Oh Lanks, that absolutely has to be a first time strike with your left
English

Great chance for Lankshear, but Cornell makes the save.

English

Is this the strongest match day squad we've had this season, even with BDK out?
Oxford United@OUFCOfficial
Your Friday night Yellows. 👊
English

@TimWalkerOUFC Say it louder for the Albion fans in the back, who are completely misunderstanding the point of this post, while simultaneously proving it.
English

@OUFC_Goose Nailed on. The edge we have on the teams around us is how we have stayed behind the team. Yes, we’re not happy about our position but maybe, just maybe, our unity might be what gives us a fighting chance in comparison to the toxicity of our rivals
English

The only thing that keeps us in the fight to stay up, is not having this attitude as a fanbase. There are clubs just above us that will absolutely lose their heads in a panic over the next few weeks. Let's keep ours, and support the lads #oufc
Ben Hadlington@Benhadlington1
No fight.. no ambition… every single player deserved being booed off today
English

@evanwba @Benhadlington1 Jesus Christ, my point is being made to Oxford fans. Teams above us are losing their heads (rightly or wrongly). I'm talking to our fans, telling them to keep our heads.
English

@OUFC_Goose @Benhadlington1 our players don’t have fight though, that’s the main thing the fans are angry at.
English

@wbatom19 @Benhadlington1 I agree with you, as per my first reply. I'm only talking for our own fanbase (oufc). It's one thing ripping into players that are not performing to expected levels. We need to get behind players that are fighting tooth and nail to survive, even when we're not getting the results
English

@OUFC_Goose @Benhadlington1 Unfortunately there’s a slight expectation difference between oxford and West Bromwich albion mate👍
English

@Benhadlington1 It is understandable. However our players do have fight, are working for each other, and are doing their best to punch above their weight, skill wise. It's not going to do our players any good to keep saying we're as good as down, as many have been doing the last few weeks.
English

@OUFC_Goose 2 points from 42 away from home you can’t blame the fans that have paid upwards of 4 figures of hard earned cash since the last away wain.. fuck the happy clapping thee players on thousands of week need to learn
English

@Joe_Citrone There seems to be this logic that the pessimistic, doom mongering U's fans will automatically come back to support the club if they get relegated. Thanks for getting in 6 months early to disprove that.
English

There seems to be this logic that players who’ve flattered to deceive for us in the Championship will automatically be amazing in League One.
Maybe it will be the case here, but I’m not at all convinced. #oufc
Oxford United@OUFCOfficial
✍️ We are pleased to announce that we have triggered the option to sign striker Nik Prelec on a permanent deal with immediate effect.
English

@SixFigureLimmer @OUFCOfficial I look forward to seeing you play 'proper' expansive stuff against Man City next season... if you don't manage to bottle promotion.
English

@OUFCOfficial absolute disgrace to football you lot at least teams like sheff wed would give it a go
English

@Joe_Citrone Hey, how about supporting the club and having optimism that they can still achieve something? You know, like fans do.
English

We didn't need to go down this season, that's what's so annoying.
Only really two spots this year due to Sheff Wed situation, and there are more than enough crap teams that we could have finished above to stay up.
Bad decisions and bad recruitment have let us down. #oufc
English

@DaveClarke42 @nickmanor That's when you end up with folk like Bradshaw being brought in because Rowett likes them. And remember when Clotet brought in all his old guard?
Bloomfield seems to have had some influence in bringing Makosso in, so it's not being fully dictated by one person.
English

@nickmanor I agree in principle. But a genuine question. Do you think Ed Waldrons football experience equates to what appears to be his controlling power on recruitment. For me, it’s a huge no and I think he’s more of the problem than solution. Would prefer the Manager to have main control
