Josiah Dickerson’s story goes far beyond the football field. Josiah spent the first few years of his life in an orphanage in Accra, Ghana, until Bernard Fianku got him out of the orphanage and helped get him to the United States and to his parents, Kevin and Angie Dickerson, in 2013. “I just knew like something has a shield over me… I would not have gotten out without God. It's really shocking how lucky I was and it's all glory to him every day that I'm living here.” “I'm more than a football player, and that my story doesn't define everything about me.
