Momentum is building around a structural shift in fan engagement Over the past week, OVI has held conversations with four additional EPL clubs, all progressing into deeper discussions around participation-led fan ecosystems What’s striking is the consistency of the conversations For years, clubs focused on domestic monetisation models — matchday revenue, local sponsorships, and traditional broadcast distribution Now the focus is shifting Clubs are increasingly asking how to: • Activate international fan bases • Enable direct-to-fan monetisation • Build participation-driven experiences beyond passive viewing At the same time, there is a growing recognition of a structural challenge: Today’s major social platforms dominate: • Fan attention • User data • Monetisation pathways Which leaves IP owners with reach — but limited control That model is beginning to change Participation infrastructure allows clubs to engage global fans directly, monetize in real time, and build ecosystems they control The timing of these conversations is important With the international break underway, many organizations are already planning the technology and commercial initiatives that will shape next season The question is no longer whether participation becomes part of the fan experience. It’s who builds the layer first.

Some weeks don’t look dramatic from the outside. But they change the trajectory internally. This week has been one of those. @OVIDOTLIVE successfully onboarded with @Lvlupvc and began their masterclasses — refining our pitch, tightening the deck, sharpening the financial model and stress-testing assumptions. The kind of work that isn’t visible, but compounds. We also launched our weekly newsletter and started receiving qualified, warm inbound calls. Not noise — conversations that matter. My first week with the @ManUtd Entrepreneurs has also been a standout. Thanks to Simon Jones for bringing together a room of serious operators — ambitious, open, collaborative. The quality of thinking in that network is powerful. At the same time, we’ve established direct calls with hot leads through partners. Capacity is finite as we move into launch and GTM, and one of the biggest mindset shifts as a founder is resisting the urge to boil the ocean. Growth isn’t about saying yes to everything. It’s about saying yes to the right things — at the right pace. On reflection, what can feel like “just another week” is actually a collection of incremental milestones: • Stronger positioning • Sharper messaging • Higher quality conversations • Better strategic discipline Foundations being laid for years, not months. Progress rarely shouts. It compounds quietly. Grateful for the momentum — and focused on building it correctly.
