@MatrixMysteries I live in NYC. I don’t like “vendors” like this. Trash is not disposed of properly, it takes up space for people walking. Washington Heights is FULL of this. There’s a lady on 181st & St Nicholas that sells Whole Foods items. Still has the stickers and everything. I like stores!

This isn’t a third-world country — this is New York City. An illegal is grilling on a makeshift supermarket shopping cart and there is actually a line of people waiting to get food. Import the 3rd world, become the 3rd world

@BGatesIsaPyscho There’s peddlers in Washington Heights as well. They just sell food, housing goods and clothing. I am not a fan. I prefer to go into stores to shop. A lot of these people are sitting in front of empty store fronts.

@BoatsNHoespt2 I’ve had items delivered before that clearly state “team lift” yet there’s only 1 person delivering. I helped carry up at that point. People that do these jobs should be required to be physically capable, but the delivery service needs to hire teams to deliver large items.

I ordered a reclining chair and fedex dropped it at the bottom of the stairs . I’m on the third floor 😒 and it’s 179 lbs

@InternetH0F I have a rent controlled apt. Just got done moving back in due to renovations that included lead abatement. My apartment was encased. A wall over a wall. A floor over a floor. I lost space due to this! Problems aren’t fixed, they’re covered up. These landlords make trash repairs.
