On the 1st of March, 4 of our students took to the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, to perform in front of an audience of more than 1,000 people. They performed as part of Pauline Quirke Academy in the production “Across The Line”, written by Will Brenton

We are incredibly proud to share that Katie made her debut competing on horseback and finished with an outstanding 2nd place overall. What makes this achievement even more special is the story behind it. The horse she rode was bred by her family and was born ten years ago.

Over the past two weeks, our students have stepped up for the environment with incredible energy and determination. From break time and lunchtime litter picks to community clean‑ups during tutor time, our community spirit has truly been on display.

Mrs Trembath and the Maths Department had the pleasure of observing four of our high achieving and ruthlessly competitive Year Seven students participate in the OAT Maths Olympics. Our team competed against OAT academies across the country in a variety of problem‑solving tasks

Six Villages Rewards Week Last week, Year 9 and 10 students have kicked off our reward week and enjoyed the well deserved privilege of celebrating all the hard work they have been completing and what a fantastic occasion it was. We are looking forward to Year 7s & 8s this week.

This month, six teams of Bronze DofE students completed their practice expedition across the South Downs. Students followed the routes they had planned themselves, checking in at designated safety points along the way.

To bring Shakespeare's iconic tragedy of Macbeth to life, we arranged for the whole of Year 10 to watch a live performance with a professional production of Macbeth from Quantum Theatre.

Today we had a special visitor at school! Ollie came in to spend time with some of our students and introduced them to the basics of skateboarding. A big thank you to Ollie for sharing his skills and inspiring our students to stay active and keep trying new challenges.

Today, 60 of our Year 8 students welcomed guests from The Talent Foundry and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales for a maths enrichment workshop.

Last week, as part of Careers Week, we were delighted to welcome representatives from the West Sussex Growers Association to share their knowledge and experiences with our students.
