As part of our Open the Magic event at Oak Park today, an amazing group of educators, community members, government officials, and board members read to all our classes in every grade level to promote the love of reading. Thank you all for supporting our tigers! #strongertogether

Kindergarten participated in a “wedding” of letters Q & U. It was a QUick but QUite a lovely ceremony 😊❤️🐯

We had our PK-5th grade ceremony to honor those that earned the second Early Act First Knight Award (EAFK) for this school year. The students selected were given accolades by their teacher for demonstrating responsibility. So proud of these students for their continued service.🐯

Day 3 of our book fair and guest reader! Ms. Fletcher is representing Community In Schools-Coastal Bend. She read “Chicken Little and the Big Bad Wolf” and out PK students loved it!

Starting the morning off with the sweetest kindergartners at Oak Park Elementary. The job of being a mayor comes with a multitude of responsibilities, but spending time with our children is one of my favorites! #GoTigers #readingisawesome

We had a special visitor, Mayor Guajardo. She came to kick off our Book Fair by reading "We Will Rock Our Classmates" to a group of kindergarteners. She talked about how you can be anything you want as long as you put your mind to it and the importance of reading. @CCISD
