Last year, we raised a huge concern on JAMB asking the youngsters to come for accreditation at 6:30am. This is way too early and risky considering the security situation in Nigeria. They promised at fix it this year and now they are repeating the same issue. This is wrong!

PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Village Boys Movement Announces 2 Million Man March and ADC Registration Drive in Support of His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi The Village Boys Movement (VBM), following a strategic meeting of its National Council and State Contact Persons, hereby announces a nationwide mobilisation initiative tagged the “2 Million Man March and ADC Registration Drive” in support of His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi. This historic initiative will be executed through a phased approach, with Phase One scheduled for 28th March 2026 across the following states: Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Jigawa, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Enugu, Kogi, and Edo. Phase Two will cover key states and regions including Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Delta, Kano, Imo, and others, with dates to be announced in due course. This mobilisation represents both a clear expression of democratic demand and a strategic grassroots activation effort. It is aimed not only at calling on the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to grant His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, its presidential ticket through a negotiated consensus, but also at driving mass registration of supporters into the party, thereby building a formidable and verifiable political structure nationwide. The phased approach has been deliberately adopted to sustain momentum, optimise coordination, and ensure continuous nationwide engagement over the coming weeks. This is not a one-day event; it is a coordinated movement designed to translate widespread public support into structured political power. The Village Boys Movement makes its position clear: the demand for credible leadership in Nigeria is no longer negotiable. The Nigerian people are mobilised, organised, and determined to take ownership of their democratic future. At a time when various political parties and blocs, including the PDP, APC, Labour Party and the Southern and Middle Belt Forum, are echoing the call for a Southern Presidency, the Village Boys Movement maintains that the ADC must stand firmly on the side of justice, equity, and national progress by taking the right decision at this critical moment. We therefore call on the leadership of the ADC to act decisively and in alignment with the will of the people by granting Mr. Peter Obi the presidential ticket without delay. Furthermore, VBM remains resolute in its commitment to mobilising millions across villages, towns, and cities to ensure a decisive political shift in 2027. The era of recycled governance must come to an end. This march marks the beginning of a coordinated national awakening. Signed: Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke Village Headmaster Village Boys Movement (VBM)

First, the NSA referred to terrorists as his brothers. Now, the Chief of Defense Staff is referring to terrorists as sons. These rhetorics reflect a dangerous mindset that accommodates and tolerates criminality instead of confronting it. When a government begins to frame terrorists in familial terms, it blurs the moral and legal lines that must remain clear in any serious security response. With this mindset, it is easy to understand why the current approach has struggled to protect lives and decisively end the killings. This must not be allowed to continue. Under an ADC government, there will be no ambiguity. Bandits and kidnappers and terrorists will be treated the same as all enemies of Nigeria. We will establish special terrorism courts to ensure swift prosecution. Our counter-terrorism framework will rest on four pillars: 1. Local level intelligence gathering; 2. State level prevention and detterence; 3. National level coordination and enforcement; and 4. Regional level collaboration across neighbouring countries. Like in all other things, ADC will put citizens first. 1. We will not cuddle terrorists. 2. The message will be clear: there will be severe consequences for killing a Nigerian. 3. A terrorist will neither be a son nor a brother. They are the enemy and will be treated as such.

Investing in in Education and Human Capital On Thursday, May 26th, I visited the College of Nursing Sciences in Mbano, Imo State, and was warmly received by the Provost, staff, and students. I am deeply grateful for their kind words regarding my earlier modest support of ₦10 million, which the school used for the procurement of solar power and a transformer. I also made an additional donation of ₦10 million to support ongoing developments at the institution. It is always encouraging to see institutions striving to improve learning conditions despite obvious challenges. I am convinced that investing in education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure is the surest path to sustainable national development. These should not be seen as expenses, but rather as essential investments in our collective future. We must move from consumption to production by deliberately supporting institutions that build human capital and empower our young people with the skills needed to drive progress. I encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their studies, reminding them that they are at the heart of the Nigeria we must build—one anchored in competence, compassion, character, and productivity. By investing in our youth in a sustainable and productive manner, a new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Whenever I call out the families of these politicians, defenders swarm in acting like the kids and spouses aren’t part of the problem. Most of today’s “rich” elites in this country didn’t earn it - they’re just sitting on the loot their parents stole and building empires on top of it. And you actually think these people care about you? Keep famizing their children, goats.

A Life of Faith and Service: Farewell to Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai Yesterday, I joined Nigerians from all walks of life to pay our last respects to a great man of God, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia. It was a solemn yet deeply inspiring gathering - one that reflected the breadth of lives he touched and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. Rev. Dr Ukpai was not only a preacher of the Word but a living embodiment of it, marked by humility, compassion, and commitment to the service of God and humanity. His life was a testament to faith in action, as he laboured tirelessly to uplift souls, strengthen families, and guide communities along the path of righteousness. As we bid him farewell, we do so with gratitude to God for a life well spent and for the countless seeds of faith he sowed, which will continue to bear fruit for generations to come. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO

One thing gives me joy: Abia State is no longer a state for banter. As a state, there’s still so much more to be done, but the people are finally beginning to experience a better quality of life.

One man is paying Nigerians in the UK £500 per day to hype him on a visit, dishing out bags of rice to Nigerians at home for re-election, another is using gov. Money to build roads, fix electricity, paying retirees their pension, Guess which one some lunatics are attacking?
