A Nigerian fintech once lost ₦30 billion after their frontend developer, Tunde, accidentally accepted cookies on the backend. While casually scrolling through an Excel database, a cookie consent popup appeared. Tunde, who hadn’t logged out, clicked “Accept.” In an instant, ₦30 billion vanished from the company. But Tunde, being a battle-hardened developer, sprang into action. He immediately called his friend — a WordPress specialist — for emergency advice. The friend told him: “Restart your terminal and turn off the WiFi.” Tunde followed the instructions to the letter. Miraculously, the malware attacked the virus, the virus fell sick, and the ₦30 billion was returned in full. His boss was stunned. The entire company celebrated Tunde as a hero. He was promptly promoted, and his salary as a full-stack developer was revised from ₦150k to a handsome ₦153k after tax. This is a true story. Be like Tunde.

@MrIrish3 @kwadwosheldon Did the cloned site share the same database as the main one? If so then it’s an inside job. Was anyone able to log into the cloned site with his details from the main site. I’d be glad to help with this investigation. @JDMahama

Bro @kwadwosheldon, I want to draw your attention to a very unfortunate situation at the Ministry of Health. This is sad and disheartening. There is an ongoing recruitment exercise for health professionals. The application portal was opened about three days ago, specifically for certain year groups.. for example, the 2021 batch of nurses. However, less than two hours after opening, many qualified applicants could no longer access the portal. They kept receiving this feedback “No Slot Available.” What makes this even more disturbing is the allegation that the Ministry is operating two different portals: • A public one for the general population. • A secret, special portal reportedly shared only among nurses affiliated with the NDC, said to be hosted at zbsgh.com. As I speak, that special portal has also been taken down after the nurses discovered and exposed it. It appears that recruitment for “their own” has already been completed through the backdoor, while the widely publicized general recruitment is merely for optics. Health professionals across various social media platforms are currently lamenting and expressing deep frustration over this development. I don’t think this is the kind of governance they voted for. How did we get to this point as a country? Bro, I would be grateful if you could use your platform to shine a light on this issue. Our health professionals deserve transparency and fairness in this recruitment process. This is simply not right. Thank you 🙏🏾

@NigeriaStories As a Ghanaian always seeing this on my timeline,it's disheartening. The last thing the government should be incapable of is the security of it's citizenry. We can accept hardship, corruption, power problems and still manage but terrorist kidnappings is bad. Tinubu has failed you

🚨ALERT: The CLARITY Act is OFF the Senate's schedule next week. Senate Banking Chair Tim Scott has has NOT scheduled the crypto market structure bill for the week of April 20. Per Politico, Sen Thom Tillis will release the FINAL draft this week, the LAST piece needed before the committee can call a markup. Even then, the bill must align with Senate Agriculture, pass a 60-vote Senate floor (needs Democrats), then reconcile with the House. If no markup is scheduled by April 20–25, midterm politics could kill the bill as bipartisan cooperation dies entirely. Remember, the revised draft formalizes a major compromise: BANNING passive stablecoin yield while allowing rewards tied to activity. Though Coinbase made a dramatic U-turn, officially endorsing the bill, major US banks remain opposed. In the end, one Democrat defection on ethics language, one banking lobby pushback on yield, or one committee scheduling delay, and the bill DIES.

Mi vecino m*rió hace cuatro meses. Yo tengo 36. Él tenía casi 70. Vivía solo. Sin hijos. Sin visitas. Solo hablábamos cuando coincidíamos en la entrada. —Si un día no me ves, preocúpate —me dijo una vez riendo. Una mañana llegó la ambulancia. Se lo llevaron. No volvió. Semanas después tocaron mi puerta. Era un abogado. —Usted aparece en el testamento. Pensé que era un error. No éramos amigos. Apenas conocidos. Me quedé sentada mucho tiempo.
