People are talking about Lacroix vs Jude like it wasn’t a 1v1. Rewatch the video and watch the rest of the France players. He literally got zero help but did his job.

It seems Chelsea have learned how fast football changes after going from World Champions to 10th. Hope this Rogers signing is an indication of a change of strategy to make sure we never slip again.

@BlueCoProject I think it’s been very fair to criticize the clubs approach to things. Missed on a lot of assets and overpaid for a lot of junk but that was the risk. It’s nice to see they are seemingly listening to Xabi more than the directors.

The Morgan Rogers signing is huge for three reasons: 1. Because I called it. No one else did. 2. Because he is an exceptional footballer with strong relationships on Chelsea. 3. Because it defies the negative narratives and frequent accusations about the club’s priorities.

Anyone who is asking how Palmer and Rogers will play together is just being funny. Alonso’s favourite formation at Leverkusen was 3-4-3, with two 10s in Hoffman and Wirtz; both were mainly half-space operators. Secondly, even in a 4-2-3-1, Palmer can start centrally and Rogers on the left. With an attacking left-back, he will end up occupying the left half-space, as he would in a 3-4-3. That question shouldn't be a topic. I believe he's been bought for the left-wing/left-half-space role, which suits a right-footer like him.
