@UFOMMA Like I said earlier, you'll look for every excuse not to condemn the fact that someone just threatened ETHNIC war if one of their own loses an election. I wrote ETHNIC in Caps, so it's not mistaken for party politics. Bros!!! Open your mouth and condemn evil!!..Tufia!!!

Shey una dey hear am...He did not say the war between Yorubas and Northerners. He specifically said, the war between Yorubas and Igbos. Not tomorrow when they start burning Igbo people's houses and markets in SW, @UFOMMA will attribute it to A.C or power surge.
Anambra 1st son@UchePOkoye

If a director of research of an organization can publicly make this threat, I’m not going to pretend that they are not the ones sponsoring these miscreants This war-drum has been one-sided since 2014, and nobody is taking it seriously. The day someone will respond, the government will take it seriously.

@UFOMMA I know you'll deflect. Just wanted to point this out. So that when it happens, you don't assume I am a bigot or tribalist for pointing it out. We saw what Tinubu supporters did after 2023 in Lagos. You justified it with power surge and normal fire breakout.

@Obidi_Ok Perhaps because you have e more Igbos in the SW than Yorubas in the SE. However, one does the opinion of one man binding on the entire Yoruba race, including those supporting Obi?

@UFOMMA What does that have to do with what he said? Did you hear anyone from SE threatening Yorubas in the East, that there will be war between Yoruba and Igbos if Obi doesn't win election?

@Obidi_Ok Isn't it strange that the war between Yorubas and Igbos never ever happen in the South East but only in the SW? What does that tell you sir?

@SarautaMaryam @AishaYesufu @silas_mayor And that is very OK. What he's strategically planning is what Atiku couldn't do since 2003. Atiku could have become President in 2007 if only he didn't allow his desperation push him in 2003. Again in 2019, if only he dropped his desperation in 2014/2015.

@UFOMMA People went out in 2003 to vote out PDP & Mbadinuju/the God fathers harrasing Anambra state. Unfortunately, that vote didn't count, which led to the litigation that lasted till 2006/2007 with impeachment. So, there was a lot of apathy going into 2010. Do you understand it now?

@Obidi_Ok Yes 2003 but court case lasted till 2007. It is because they know him more than me,that is why only 97,000 of them voted for his re-election

Sign of trouble for APGA, you run. Wahala never start for PDP, you run. Labour faces the perturbations of becoming a mainstream party, you run. ADC advancing toward its primaries, you run. But somehow, you have the capacity to save Nigeria from its century old challenges. Whoever believes you should be certified dumb, dumbo, obidient. Or dumbest.

@UFOMMA I always tell you, you cannot know a place & wat transpired in that place more than the indigene who lived through it. BTW PO contested in 2003 not 2007 & that election was to get Mbadinuju & PDP out. Even people who didn't like him then, now know he's golden compared to the rest

@Obidi_Ok Nigerians will always find excuses for what they like. Master, we saw all the tweets here from the period and they were les than complimentary, even if those same people are now some of his biggest supporters. Besides more people voted for him in 2007

Can someone please tag Prof Usman Yusuf to this video? That someone of his status can descend so low to lie about what never happened. Next, thing, now, he'll say Igbos are insulting him for pointing out his forked tongue.

ABUJA, FCT MAY 6, 2026 PRESS STATEMENT APC NWC WAIVES SCREENING REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at its 188th Meeting, held today May 6, 2026, resolved to waive, and has waived, screening requirements for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and deemed him as duly screened in accordance with the Constitution of the Party for the purpose of participation in the upcoming primary elections. This decision was made pursuant to the powers conferred on the NWC under Article 13.4 (xiii) and (xiv) of the Constitution of APC to organise and supervise the Party’s primaries and, in special circumstances, grant waivers, in the best interest of the Party. The NWC noted that the President @officialABAT has received overwhelming endorsement and vote of confidence from critical stakeholders of the Party, including the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), the leadership and members of the National Assembly, and other organs of the Party at the APC National Summit of May 22, 2025, and other major statutory events of the Party. It noted further that, as the incumbent President, and leader of our great Party, having been duly screened and cleared ahead of the 2022 presidential primaries, requiring his physical appearance before a screening committee, at this time, would be redundant and unnecessary. Signed: Felix Morka, CON National Publicity Secretary All Progressives Congress (APC)

@UFOMMA Well, you cannot force people to come out & vote. Moreover Anambra was just recovering from the debacle of 2003 rigged election lasting till 2006, Godfatherism, impeachment. People at that time no really believe the system. But it doesn't mean Anambra people didn't trust him

"The condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria, informed my decision to leave ADC for NDC." Yesterday, I formally joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside my dear brother, Engr. Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, with one clear purpose: to continue the struggle for a new Nigeria built on justice, competence, accountability, and compassion for the ordinary Nigerian. As I stated yesterday, this decision was not made out of anger, personal ambition, or convenience. It came after deep reflection on the present condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the dangerous path it is currently heading. Over the years, I have remained steadfast in my conviction that politics should never be about individuals, positions, or personal gain. It must be about the people, especially the millions of Nigerians who today can no longer afford necessities, whose businesses are collapsing, whose children are losing hope, and whose future is becoming increasingly uncertain. I left the ADC for the same reason I left the Labour Party: the severe, orchestrated litigation and internal crises deliberately designed to ensure that I, alongside many other notable individuals, do not effectively participate in the electoral process. I sincerely appreciate and remain deeply grateful to the Leadership of ADC for the opportunity to work together in pursuit of a better Nigeria. I am particularly grateful to ADC Chairman Senator David Mark for his exceptional Leadership. I also deeply appreciate my Leader and elder brother YE, Atiku Abubakar, as well as other respected leaders within the party. As we join the NDC, I sincerely appeal to the Nigerian Government against the encouragement of unresolved litigations and the infusion of crises within political parties. Democracy must never become a weapon against the people. A healthy democracy thrives on strong institutions, credible alternatives, and the freedom of citizens to make choices without intimidation, manipulation, or fear. Opposition parties must not be weakened or destroyed, because when democracy loses balance, the people ultimately suffer. Nigeria today is passing through one of the most difficult periods in its history. Poverty is rising. Hunger is widespread. Insecurity continues to threaten lives and livelihoods. Businesses are shutting down daily. Our young people are becoming discouraged, and many citizens have lost faith in the system. At a time like this, leadership must be driven not by propaganda or division, but by competence, capacity, character, and compassion. Our decision to join the NDC is therefore not an abandonment of values, but a continuation of the same mission we have always stood for: building a Nigeria where leadership is about service, where public resources are managed responsibly, where institutions function independently, and where every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion, region, or social status, can live with dignity, security, and hope. I remain committed to working with all Nigerians of goodwill across political, ethnic, and religious lines. The task before us is bigger than any individual or political party. It is about the future of our children and the survival of our dear nation. I thank Nigerians, especially our youths and women, for remaining peaceful, resilient, and hopeful despite the enormous challenges confronting the country. I urge you not to lose faith in Nigeria. Nations do not change because people surrender to hopelessness; they change because people continue to believe, continue to sacrifice, and continue to stand for what is right. A new Nigeria is still POssible. -PO
