@25tobiloba Plus police car has been outside this place for days now. Still saw them there on Friday. It’s not even hidden 🤭

Our culture really worn with baby backing. If you do it correctly your back will live. Yes your child may become addicted to it but it gives you freedom to do so much with your hands & time while allowing your child to rest or relax into deep sleep.

crying and screaming to get it all out my system and immediately moving on because it’s best to let emotions pass through instead of identifying with them 🙂‍↕️ I genuinely feel sm better.

I love spoilers so much that I google everything, as I’m watching I’m on review geek reading the step by step summary. There’s nothing I’m watching that I don’t already know how it ended.

@HarleyShah Wheelchair user only has to wheel in & out. Mom has to pack & unpack while securing child, herself, buggy, child bag. Most of the time alone cos how many people will help? No place to even store the buggy/pram. Most brands can’t also get to the back of the bus

It's first come basis until a wheelchair user needs the space. By law, anybody with a buggy needs to make space for the wheelchair user. Because it's a wheelchair space. That they fought tirelessly to be able to have. And the driver can refuse to move until they do.
OBIDIYA@Obidiyya

@theashrb That’s the rule but it doesn’t make sense in reality. 1. Pram was on the bus first. 1st come basis 2. It’s highly disorganizing folding pram & rearranging all the items 3. Even worse when some drivers ask 1 of the family to get off for the disabled person to get on.

@HarleyShah I understand all this but the rule doesn’t make much sense practically. The rule makes it a shared space but in reality of the part where one has to get off. Why? The mom was on bus 1st. Why get off & disorganize her whole journey. Rule favours 1 group but makes 2 groups upset.

becoming less reactive is a huge part of growth, and decreasing stress. if you let everything get you worked up, you're damaging your mind, body, and spirit.

@theashrb Oh cos you folded your pram as a mom doesn’t mean the rule makes sense in the real rest of the world . The anxiety of making your journey with the plan on folding your pram alone, holding your baby, unfolding, getting off the bus. How many people are going to help you?

@theashrb From 1 view where especially when asked to get off the bus. Why should that be an option when the other person can wait for next bus. You’re already on the bus so why get off when youve planned your journey as a mom. Why can’t the other person wait. Would the world end?

@theashrb All bordering on the right of the disabled. I am bordering on the mom. Both parties may feel cheated. 1 insists on right, 1 insists on convenience. Mom’s weren’t thought of. That’s 1 of the million reasons it’s not a realistic reality.

@flowergirl_lon Not a realistic reality like I said. 1st come basis meaning the mom would feel cheated out even with bearing in mind it’s a wheelchair space. So many cases where folding the buggy is quite inconvenient. Getting on the bus each time with anxiety.

It’s not first come first served in the 🇬🇧. We have laws protecting the ♿️ space for priority use by ♿️ users (Case Law: Paulley Vs First Group). Also when someone has to get off the bus to clear that space they can get a pass to resume their journey they don’t lose their fare.
